2005 - 2023

Mia Denham August 24, 2005 – January 12, 2023
With much sadness, we announce that our sweet Italian Greyhound, Mia, graduated from our earthly plain and crossed the rainbow bridge to the heavenly fields of home on January 12, 2023. Mia was compassionately assisted by Homeward Bound Veterinary Care of Utah.
Mia was one of our heart dogs, a member of our family for 17+ years, and will remain in our hearts and minds for the rest of our lives. She was our Alpha girl, and as “Queen Mia” she “ruled” over her Italian Greyhound brother Chase for 13 years, and “reigned” over her Italian Greyhound sister Pippa for the last three years in all things doggie related.
Mia loved her walks when she was younger and was kind to all that wanted to meet her and pet her ever-so-soft fur. She loved us back with her warm velvet tongue kisses and laying on our chest for long snuggles. She stayed with us as long as she could and waited a good long while to say her last goodbye. Mia took her last breath with us right by her side, but now she Is taking in the fresh air that only heaven can provide.
We know she is racing down that celestial road with her littermate Chase once again by her side, along with other furry companions taking the paths that lead home. We know Mia will watch over us, and keep her lonely sister Pippa close at heart. Mia now keeps pieces of our broken hearts 💔, while her loving heart is tucked away safely in ours.
Until we see each other again beyond the veil, this is not goodbye, but instead, we bid you a very loving and fond farewell. ♥💫
